mylittleearthquakes:

so my friend and i think that the woman in the “bounty” videos is a huldra (from swedish mythology, an often naked woman with long hair - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huldra), and that she lures a man into the woods, seduces him, and makes him obsessed with her. the man, in “y”, has sex with her, and they produce a child.

then, the man dies in “20101104” (the huldra often drain men and kill them because of their relentless seduction), possibly by hanging himself. as he hangs, his semen drips into the plant pot below him. semen of a hanged man is what is said in myths to grow a mandrake root (and as we know, the 4th and 5th prelude videos spell out “mandragora officinarum”, or the latin name for the mandrake root). out of the plant pot grows a mandrake woman.

from wikipedia:

It was a common folklore in some countries that mandrake would only grow where the semen of a hanged man had dripped on to the ground; this would appear to be the reason for the methods employed by the alchemists who “projected human seed into animal earth”. In Germany, the plant is known as the Alraune: the novel (later adapted as a film) Alraune by Hanns Heinz Ewers is based on a soulless woman conceived from a hanged man’s semen, the title referring to this myth of the Mandrake’s origins.

so the woman who grew from the man is the “soulless woman”, and she walks out of the apartment, plays all the songs in the “concert”, and is in the “; john” and “clump” videos. now as for sever, i’m not so sure..

thoughts??
